Longtime friends David Goldstone and Bryan McConnaughey have joined their extensive culinary experience to open the Bedford-Lexington based FireBox BBQ. The two chefs have over half a century of experience between them, working around the United States and Europe.

Bryan and David hatched the idea of opening a barbecue restaurant in the Boston area while Bryan was working in Georgia and David was opening a Todd English venture in Las Vegas.

Firebox BBQ provides a distinctive, "premium-casual" dining experience with friendly and attentive service. It offers a moderately priced, all-American menu featuring made-from-scratch items in a high energy, comfortable atmosphere.

Firebox BBQ features Classic American food and pit-smoked meats, along with Tex-Mex options. The menu emphasizes high quality ingredients such as: Premium St. Louis style Pork Ribs; Certified Angus Beef Brisket, "Northeast Family Farms" local humanely-raised beef ribs, fresh ground premium burgers, and free range chickens. Firebox also offers a broad selection of salads, appetizers and homemade desserts, as well as Beer and Wine.
